We are grateful to IWM’s Teachers Council, whose members continue to freely offer the Dharma through courses, retreats, Dharma talks, and community practice. In the absence of a Guiding Teacher, we also see a need for a small core team of teachers who will work closely with the Board and Programming Committee, be an engaged presence at community practices, and - crucially - who will bring fresh perspectives and diverse life experiences to the Dharma seat at IWM.
We have a vision of bringing in teachers who may be established, yet early in their teaching path, and who reflect diverse identities and life experiences. In addition to teaching, these new members of our sangha would engage with the Board, staff, Programming Committee, Teachers Council, and sangha members of IWM, as we build towards a sustainable future and create a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable sangha.
Our goal to raise $25,000 which would enable IWM to provide teacher support in the following ways:

Our goal to raise $25,000 which would enable IWM to provide teacher support in the following ways:
- Supplement teacher dana for Dharma talks, courses, and retreats.
- Provide support for lodging, food, and transportation for guest teachers.
- Provide opportunities for new teachers’ engagement with the Board, Programming Committee, Teachers’ Council, staff and other sangha leaders.
- Support new teachers’ availability for individual and small group practice interviews on an ongoing basis.
- Support the infrastructure that supports the teachers and makes all our programming possible.
